On a pleasant Tuesday evening in Richmond, Virginia, the courtyard of the Belt Atlantic apartments was filled with people enjoying the weather. Among them was 30-year-old Sharnez 'Shy-Shy' Hill, cradling her 3-month-old daughter, Neziah. The ordinary scene was shattered at around 6:30 p.m. on April 27, 2021, when gunfire erupted.
