In the early hours of April 29, 2021, the life of 31-year-old Gerard D. Richardson, a Black/African American male known to his loved ones as 'Roddie Rod,' was tragically cut short in Colonial Heights, Virginia. Shortly after midnight, Richardson was discovered with gunshot wounds on East Roslyn Road, near the Southpark Boulevard area.
