Marcus James Johnson, a 19-year-old from Chesterfield County, Virginia, was reported missing by his family on November 27, 2022, after last being seen on November 16, 2022. His body was discovered on December 21, 2022, under a tarp in a wooded area along Yacht Basin Drive in Colonial Heights. The area where his body was found is frequented by walkers and dog owners, making the discovery particularly shocking for the local community.
