On the afternoon of January 22, 2026, a disturbance was reported near Normal Avenue and Mayfair Drive in Fresno, California. Responding officers arrived at the scene around 2:11 p.m. to find a woman, 25-year-old Tamika Hoy, face down in an alleyway with severe head trauma. She was rushed to Community Regional Medical Center for medical attention. Despite life-saving efforts, Tamika succumbed to her injuries and passed away on January 25, 2026.
