On the evening of October 7, 2021, a dispute in a parking lot in Hampton, Virginia, escalated to a fatal conclusion. In the 100 block of Water Way, an altercation resulted in 40-year-old Kareem B. Harley being shot. The male suspect, or suspects, fled the scene immediately after the gunfire erupted around 5:45 p.m.
