Nicholas Kyle Joseph, a 23-year-old resident of Painter, Virginia, tragically lost his life on October 13, 2021, in Onancock, Virginia. The incident occurred in the middle of Johnson Street, near the old carnival grounds, around 3 p.m. on that fateful Wednesday. Joseph was shot multiple times in the head, extremities, and chest while he was stopped in his car. After being struck by gunfire, his vehicle continued to move down the road and eventually collided with a pole at a nearby intersection.
