Lamar Jones, a 31-year-old resident of Richmond, Virginia, tragically lost his life in a shooting incident on December 11, 2021. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning in Richmond's Shockoe Bottom area. According to reports, an officer near East Broad and North 18th streets heard gunshots just before 1:55 a.m. and proceeded to investigate.
