On January 14, 2022, Shakera Lanae Hines, a 26-year-old mother of three, was tragically found shot to death in Portsmouth, Virginia. The incident occurred in the 1100 block of Virginia Avenue around 1:34 p.m. When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered Hines suffering from a fatal gunshot wound.
