In a tragic sequence of events stemming from a dispute over a found driver's license, Anthony Flowers, a 22-year-old male, was fatally shot on March 6, 2014, in Newark, New Jersey. The incident unfolded on a street corner at Avon Avenue and South 11th Street, where a confrontation escalated into deadly violence. The initial issue began when Flowers found a woman's driver's license and, in an attempt to return it for a small reward, set in motion a chain of events that would end in his death.
