Timothy Pittman, a 19-year-old resident of Chicago, was killed on August 29, 2008, in the Uptown neighborhood. The shooting occurred in the middle of the afternoon on the 4800 block of North Sheridan Road, leaving one person dead and another critically wounded. Despite the tragedy, details about the suspect or motive remained unclear, and as of several weeks after the incident, no arrests had been made.
