In the early evening of May 6, 2015, the life of 34-year-old Tabitha Y. Lee, a female resident of Newark, New Jersey, was tragically cut short. At approximately 5 p.m., the sound of gunfire echoed through the 200 block of Muhammad Ali Avenue. Newark Police officers were dispatched to the scene following a report of shots fired. Upon their arrival, they discovered Ms. Lee unresponsive, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
