In a Newark, New Jersey, apartment on a cold Saturday night, the life of 23-year-old Ashley Jones was brought to a violent and tragic end. On January 30, 2016, Jones and a man she had recently started seeing, 28-year-old Jarrell Marshall, were fatally shot inside her Clinton Place home.
