On a Saturday afternoon in Trenton, New Jersey, the life of 15-year-old Maurice Wimbush-Jalaah was tragically cut short. On June 11, 2016, at approximately 3:45 p.m., the male teen was shot in the Prospect Village, a Trenton Housing Authority complex. Responding police officers found Wimbush-Jalaah on the ground, and he was quickly transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
