In the early morning hours of November 6, 2016, the life of 28-year-old Gene Bolie, a Black male, was tragically cut short on a street in Paterson, New Jersey. Bolie was shot outside 74 North Main Street at approximately 1:40 a.m. Responding police officers found him and rendered medical aid before he was rushed to St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center. Despite their efforts, he succumbed to his injuries in the emergency room.
