On a Tuesday evening in Newark, New Jersey, the life of 16-year-old Rashawn Cooper, a male, was tragically cut short. On May 30, 2017, at approximately 10:00 p.m., Newark police responded to reports of gunfire in the vicinity of the 100 block of Goodwin Avenue.
