In the late hours of a Saturday night in Irvington, New Jersey, a sense of unease settled over a residence on 39th Street. It was there, on September 12, 2020, that gunfire tragically cut short the life of Maurice Stevens Jr., a 37-year-old man from the same town. The violent encounter left him with a fatal gunshot wound.
