On the night of Monday, January 4, 2021, police were asked to conduct a welfare check at an apartment on Jacques Street in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Inside, they made a grim discovery. A 22-year-old woman named Shaquin Ingram was found, having sustained serious injuries. Emergency medical personnel were called to the scene, but it was too late; Ingram was pronounced dead inside her residence.
