In the summer of 2022, the life of 33-year-old Kyshon Butey Washington-Walker was abruptly cut short by a senseless act of gun violence in Asbury Park, New Jersey. On the evening of July 28, just four days before his birthday, Washington-Walker was shot multiple times on the 1600 block of Sewall Avenue.
