In the evening hours of Tuesday, September 20, 2022, Keenan Anthony Trower, a 31-year-old male, was fatally shot in Trenton, New Jersey. The incident occurred around 7:50 p.m. in the area of Howard and Hancock Streets, where Trenton police officers responded to a Shot Spotter activation indicating multiple rounds had been fired.
Upon their arrival, officers discovered Trower unresponsive in the driver's seat of a maroon Cadillac sedan.
He had sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his chest. He was immediately transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead a short time later. At the time of the incident, Keenan, a resident of Hamilton, was employed as a manager for Burger King.
The Mercer County Prosecutor's Office and the Trenton Police Department are actively investigating the shooting as a homicide.
