Robert Gardner, aged 28, was one of the victims of the Hazelwood massacre, a tragic event that took place on June 14, 1971, in Detroit, Michigan. The massacre occurred at a house located on Hazelwood Street, where eight people were shot and killed in what is considered the largest mass murder in Detroit's history. Gardner, who was a heroin dealer and pimp, was believed to be the primary target of the attack. The other victims were likely killed to eliminate any witnesses.
