Octavius Hamilton, a 35-year-old resident of Detroit, Michigan, was tragically killed on October 11, 2021. The incident occurred on the city's east side, where Hamilton was walking in the area of Beland and Lappin just after midnight. According to reports, a Ring doorbell camera captured footage of an individual chasing Hamilton before shooting him twice. Even after Hamilton collapsed, the assailant continued to fire shots at him.
