In the late hours of a Monday in Detroit, Michigan, the life of 35-year-old Octavius Hamilton was tragically cut short. On October 11, 2021, just after midnight, Hamilton, a Black/African American male, was walking on the city's east side, in the vicinity of Beland and Lappin streets. It was here that an unknown individual began to pursue him.
