Giacomo "Jack" Buffa, a 37-year-old police officer with the Detroit Police Department, tragically lost his life on February 5, 1986, in a case of mistaken identity. Officer Buffa, along with his partner, was conducting a drug raid at a home located at 537 E. Euclid around 6 PM.
