Jason Guzik, a 25-year-old chemical engineer and graduate student from Sterling Heights, Michigan, was tragically killed on October 12, 1995. Guzik was the victim of a carjacking that took place in the parking lot of a Farmer Jack grocery store on Telegraph Road. The perpetrator, Akil Logan, was only 16 years old at the time.
