Patrick Michael Prohm, a 32-year-old police officer with the Detroit Police Department, tragically lost his life on January 9, 1996. Officer Prohm was shot and killed while attempting to arrest a suspect during a felony stop for a stolen vehicle. The incident occurred at approximately 12:46 a.m. at the intersection of Charlevoix Street and Joseph Campau Avenue in Detroit, Michigan.
