Michael Carter, a 15-year-old from Flint, Michigan, tragically lost his life on June 19, 1997. The circumstances surrounding his death were both brutal and heartbreaking. Michael, along with two friends, had hopped a freight train and ended up in Flint. After leaving the train, they sought directions to a phone, which led them to a dangerous encounter.
