In the summer of 1997, a teenage adventure took a tragic and fatal turn for 14-year-old Michael Carter. On June 19th, Carter, along with two friends, a 15-year-old male and a 14-year-old female, hopped a freight train from their suburban homes, an impromptu trip that ended miles down the track in a desolate area of Flint, Michigan.
