On the evening of March 7, 2001, four-year-old Shania Salter was tragically killed in a shooting incident at her home on Patton Street in Detroit, Michigan. The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. when the house was riddled with bullets fired from outside. Shania was struck by a bullet from an AK-47 firearm, which resulted in her death.
