Pamela Jean Barnes, aged 41, was tragically found dead on July 6, 2005, in her home in Waterford Township, Michigan. She was discovered alongside her boyfriend, Kenneth Kanehl Jr., aged 39. The couple had been shot multiple times in the head while they slept, in what appeared to be a targeted attack. The police found no signs of forced entry, and nothing was stolen from the home, leaving investigators initially baffled about the motive behind the murders.
