John Sherman Russell III, aged 27, died on September 6, 2014, in Greenville, Michigan. His death occurred under tragic and unusual circumstances. On the morning of his death, Russell was found naked and asleep on a couch in a home on S. Barry Street in Greenville. The homeowner, concerned for his family's safety, armed himself with a shotgun and attempted to wake Russell and order him to leave.
