On a cold December night in Inkster, Michigan, the life of 17-year-old Dimetrius Reed was tragically cut short. On December 29, 2014, at approximately 10:30 p.m., the young man was found lying in the street at the intersection of Beech and Harriet streets, the victim of multiple gunshot wounds. A bicycle was found next to his body, a silent testament to his final moments.
