On a tragic September morning in 2015, the life of 33-year-old Khari Smith of Detroit, Michigan, was brutally cut short. The male victim was one of two men who lost their lives on September 6th in a violent encounter on the city's east side. The incident also claimed the life of 27-year-old Demetrius Gatson.
