In the winter of 2015, the community of Holland, Michigan, was shaken by a tragic event that unfolded in an apartment complex on Stratford Way. On the evening of December 7th, 37-year-old Mani Khounvongsa was at her apartment with her boyfriend, 40-year-old Gilberto Andrade-Pena. Their evening was violently interrupted by the arrival of 51-year-old Bountavee Nerasin, who was identified by friends as Khounvongsa's ex-boyfriend.
