Anaiya Denise Montgomery, a 3-year-old girl from Detroit, Michigan, tragically lost her life on March 27, 2016. The incident occurred in the early hours of Easter Sunday when a man forcibly entered a home on the 16800 block of Riverview near West McNichols and Telegraph. The intruder opened fire, resulting in Anaiya's death from multiple gunshot wounds. Two other individuals, a 39-year-old man and a 26-year-old man, were also injured during the shooting.
