Anaiya Denise Montgomery, a 3-year-old Black female, was fatally shot in Detroit, Michigan on Easter Sunday, March 27, 2016. The incident occurred in the early morning hours at a home on Riverview Street. Gunmen forced their way into the residence and opened fire, striking Anaiya as she was being held by her mother.
