In the late hours of a Wednesday in Flint, Michigan, the life of Rodney Stephen Waters, a 36-year-old Black man, was tragically cut short. On September 28, 2016, Waters was discovered in the driveway of his home on the 900 block of Stocker Road, suffering from gunshot wounds. He was rushed to Hurley Medical Center, but his injuries proved to be fatal, and he was pronounced dead.
