Kathleen Blackburn, a 48-year-old resident of Colfax Township, Michigan, tragically lost her life on January 29, 2017, in a murder-suicide incident. The Mecosta County Sheriff's Office responded to a call at approximately 5:55 p.m. on that Sunday evening. Upon arrival, deputies discovered the bodies of Kathleen Blackburn and her boyfriend, 33-year-old Gabrial Harkins. According to the authorities, Harkins shot and killed Blackburn before turning the gun on himself.
