A woman is stabbed over 20 times while photographing birds
Catherine Millican, a 26-year-old woman from New London, New Hampshire, was found murdered on October 24, 1978. Catherine had been an employee at the local telephone company and was an avid photographer. On the day of her death, she was last seen photographing birds at the Chandler Brook Wetland Preserve. Her body was discovered the next day, just a short distance from where she had been taking photographs.
