Domonique Brown, a 27-year-old rising rap artist from Detroit, Michigan, tragically lost her life on July 30, 2017. She was fatally shot while traveling on Interstate 94 near Livernois Avenue. Brown, along with her friend and fellow rapper Ramell Campbell, was returning home from a club when their vehicle was ambushed around 2:45 a.m. The white Chrysler 200 they were in was riddled with bullets, resulting in both Brown and Campbell being pronounced dead at the scene.
