In the early morning hours of November 25, 2017, the life of 41-year-old Fernando Devon Paige was tragically cut short on a street in his hometown of Battle Creek, Michigan. A Black/African American male, Paige was discovered lying in the 300 block of Oneita Street at approximately 1:11 a.m., having sustained multiple gunshot wounds. First responders and police officers arrived at the scene, but their efforts to resuscitate him were unsuccessful.
