Novena Mathis, a 38-year-old resident of Benton Harbor, Michigan, tragically passed away on January 7, 2018. She was found shot to death inside her car. Novena, known affectionately as "Vena," was a dedicated medical assistant and phlebotomist who worked at Lakeland Medical Center and Memorial Hospital in South Bend for over 15 years. She was deeply loved by her family and friends, and her untimely death left a significant void in their lives.
