She was in the process of moving into a new home with her boyfriend, Samuel Brown, looking forward to a fresh start.
On that Sunday morning, police responded to a call about a woman with a head wound at a residence on West Main Street. Upon arrival, they discovered Quintina Jeffries deceased from a gunshot wound to the head. The investigation into her death quickly pointed to a domestic dispute.
