James Eric Davis Sr., aged 48, tragically lost his life on March 2, 2018, in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. He was fatally shot by his son, James Eric Davis Jr., a 19-year-old student at Central Michigan University (CMU). The incident occurred in Davis Jr.'s dormitory room at CMU, where both Davis Sr. and his wife, Diva Davis, were found dead. The couple had traveled from their home in Plainfield, Illinois, to pick up their son for spring break.
