Charlie McGowan, a 24-year-old resident of Clinton Township, Michigan, tragically lost his life on July 5, 2018, during a block party in Mount Clemens. The incident occurred around 12:20 a.m. near Court and Clemens streets, where a large crowd had gathered. According to Macomb County Sheriff Anthony Wickersham, the party devolved into a chaotic shooting melee, resulting in McGowan being fatally shot in the abdomen.
