In the summer of 2018, the life of 34-year-old Rodney Ellis Harden, a Black/African American male, was tragically cut short in Flint, Michigan. His death was part of a grim discovery that unfolded on July 12, when his body, along with that of 19-year-old Tedmundo Meeks, was found in the Flint River. A fisherman investigating a door floating in the water near the I-475 overpass made the initial finding, which led to the recovery of both victims and the launch of a double homicide investigation.
