In the winter of 2019 in Monroe, Michigan, the life of 38-year-old Gregory Thomas James was tragically cut short. On Tuesday, January 22, James was fatally shot on Kentucky Avenue in a violent encounter that also left a woman injured. The female victim, whose identity was protected, survived her injuries and was later able to identify the person responsible for the shooting.
