Destiny Desiree Reed, a 24-year-old resident of Detroit, Michigan, tragically lost her life on May 12, 2019. Destiny was shot and killed on Van Dyke near Mack Avenue around 12:45 a.m. on Mother's Day. Her death was part of a disturbing pattern of violence that shook Detroit's east side, as she was one of three women murdered in the span of eight days.
