Timothy Blancher, a 20-year-old Black gay man from Detroit, Michigan, tragically lost his life on May 25, 2019. He was one of three victims in a brutal shooting that took place in a Detroit home. The other victims were Alunte Davis, a 21-year-old gay man, and Paris Cameron, a 20-year-old transgender woman. The incident was a targeted attack motivated by hatred towards the LGBTQ community.
