On July 19, 2014, 34-year-old Maricela Faurrieta-Suarez was found dead in Las Vegas, Nevada, near Brookman Elementary School. She had suffered a gunshot wound to the head, and her body was discovered in the 1200 block of Fairchild Street. The circumstances surrounding her murder were deeply tragic, and investigations were launched to determine the cause and perpetrators.
