On the evening of October 24, 2019, Nyassinu Crowell, a 46-year-old male, was fatally shot in Detroit, Michigan, during an attempted armed robbery. The incident occurred around 9 p.m. near the intersection of Hayes Street and Seven Mile Road on the city's east side. Crowell was sitting in a vehicle with a friend when two individuals approached them.
