In the early hours of a Monday morning in March 2020, Jennifer Wentz, a 44-year-old female, sat in her car in a shopping plaza parking lot on Hoover Road in Warren, Michigan. She was waiting to pick up her 19-year-old daughter, who was finishing an overnight shift at a local retail store. The quiet wait turned tragic when an unknown individual approached her vehicle.
