In Lansing, Michigan, a 37-year-old woman of color named Tameka Susan Jackson, lost her life in a violent encounter on March 13, 2020. A lifelong resident of the city, she was known for her loving heart and ability to bring a smile to the faces of those around her. Tameka worked for several years at Meridian Magnesium Products of America in nearby Eaton Rapids and enjoyed roller skating, music, and reading.
