In the winter of 2021, the life of 24-year-old Katelyn Marie Smith, a White/Caucasian female from Lansing, Michigan, was tragically cut short. On February 14, 2021, police responded to a call at the Lansing Park Terrace housing complex, where they discovered Katelyn with a fatal gunshot wound to her face.
